Artist Statement

Shams grew up in an intelligent family of an architect and a teacher. Since childhood, Shams has gravitated towards art, but she came to it only recently. Having graduated as a public relations specialist, Shams realized that art is not just her passion, but her dedication in life. In 2020, the artist defended her dissertation on cultural studies and began to create her own works of art.

From 2015-2017, Shams taught ethics, cultural studies and philosophy at MGIMO (University), but developed not only as a theorist, but also as a practitioner. Initially, the author painted landscapes and still lives and constantly improved her technique.
